JL amp issue
Hey all, I have a JL 300/4 V2 amp driving my front components and have an issue with it I can't figure out. After 5 months of working great the "Low OHM" light is now on and the speakers have a lot of static in them. Consulting the JL manual the 2 most common issues that cause this are improper OHM matching or a short in the speaker wiring. My components are 4 OHM and even with both sets of speaker wires disconnected from the amp still has the issue so I'm stumped.
Anyone have any other ideas of what to look at? I bought the amp used so I hope it didn't take a crap on me. TIA for any advice you might have for me.

Sounds like it's done for:

If the yellow LED lights with no speakers connected, the amp is broken (bad output FET).

That's my project tomorrow, finding a place that will. It still works but gets the static at middle and higher volumes.
