Noob questions about stereo install

First, thanks to Wrathernaut for having answered some other questions recently.

I put in my order for a JDM kit for my '03 coupe. My wife has given me clear instructions to not go overboard on my install costs, so I'm trying to do what I can to use the stock speakers for now.

Stereo: Pioneer AVH-3400BH or 400BH (undecided)
Other stuff: ordering based on Wrathernaut's shopping list

questions:

Amazon Amazon

Thinking of ordering the amp linked above. Will it fit where the Bose amp curently sits? It supports 2-ohm speakers in a 4-channel, 225W per channel mode. Sounds like way more than enough to blow up the stock speakers. If I keep the line-level turned down, will that help? Or do I just not turn the stereo up to "11"?

Going to run RCA cables from DDIN to trunk where existing Bose amp is located. Will the existing wiring that runs to the speakers be sufficient for the new amp? Does it all wire up in a typical FL, FR, RL, RR configuration in the trunk harness?

And bonus question: how are the rear speakers in the rear deck and the side speakers in the side actually wired?

Happy to accept links instead. My google-fu failed me.

Thanks!

Tom

Replying to myself...

Looking at Wrathernaut's DDIN shopping guide, the first wiring chart has a "non-Bose" column. Are these the colors I'll find in the harness running to the trunk for a coupe? If so, seems pretty straightforward.

Nothing runs to the trunk in a non-bose car.
