I don't see why not as long as the existing sub is 8". You will, of course, need to drive it with a better amp!

No, the coupes have a pair of 6x9's in the rear deck, no hole for an 8" woofer.

But, strengthen up that rear deck and get some cutting tools, and you can fit whatever physically fits in the deck.

Very nice write up. Great pics too.

One question. Can you just replace the 8" sub and use the stock amp? I just want to replace my sub. I am hoping it is a straight swap.

You could, but there's so little power from the stock amp, that it would be a waste of time.
