04 g35x Sedan Stereo Upgrade

Hi, my girlfriend has an 04 g35x Sedan with the bose stereo deck. I want to upgrade her system to an aftermarket system with bluetooth and ipod connectivity. She has to use the radio for her ipod and it doesn't come in well. I just want her to sit in and not doing anything but control everything from the stereo and get the best quality available. I'm just having trouble with finding the right deck for her.

I wanna try and keep it $300 and under.

The only thing is, I have no idea with what to look for and such and I won't be installing it because I'm not knowledgeable enough to. But I was looking at like the touchscreen ones like http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P140...4#overview-tab and I'm not sure how fitting would be. Would I be able to take out the bose cd player and the new one would fit right in? Do I only need to be looking at the skinny decks or would the larger decks fit?

The other thing is, I know Bose is a good quality system, so I would like to keep it within brands like pioneer that I know have great quality systems.

I hope someone here could point me in the right direction.

Thank you very much and if you need anymore information please let me know.

The Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD doesn't have bluetooth. The AVH-P2400BT does, and is under $300 for the deck. You'll still need a trim kit. Check the below linked thread for links to them. The cheap Metra one runs about $150+, while the JDM kits go for over $300.

#1 Bose is crap. They are a marketing company that sells the idea of good audio to people who don't know what good audio sounds like.

#2 Check this thread here for what you'll need to purchase: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...urce-list.html

#3 Any deck will fit in.

#4 If you need to save some money on the install, and are reasonably close to southern Georgia, I can drop your install costs down to pretty much $0.

Thanks for the reply. Obviously I'm really oblivious haha. But that seems like a lot to get the double din in there. I'm not totally sure about buying a whole new trim kit just for the deck. Is it possible to get a decent single din deck and not have to get a new trim kit?

Alright I've narrowed it down to http://www.crutchfield.com/p_13080PR...4#overview-tab and http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P940...p9400&skipvs=T

Anyone have any opinions on these two decks?

If you're talented with a dremel, you can cut up the factory trim, but you'll still need to spend $150 or so for the JDM a/c controls.
Here's the post about it: https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...tock-face.html
And about the best you could expect from it:

Single-din would work significantly worse than a double-din for this.

If you have no clue, take it to an audio shop and open your wallet. They'll make it happen.
