Did I forget anything?

Time to replace head unit, speakers, amp and sub. Did I get everything needed?

Alpine MRP-F300 50W x 4 Car Amplifier
Infinity Reference 6032si 6.75" 2-way Speakers Shallow (2)
JVC KDR80BT CD Receiver
Metra ASWC Auto Sensing Steering Wheel Cntrl Intrfc
Infiniti G35 OEM Adapter Infiniti G35 03-Up, Gray
Kenwood KFC-W112 Subwoofer

Any suggestions on RCA cables? Some people say they matter, some say they dont.

Have you considered a DD size HU? I like mine because I can play music video DVD's or watch whatever is on your iphone, including maps. They don't cost much more. I have a Kenwood DDX418 and I love it.

You're missing speakers that are an improvement over the stock speakers. Those are not really any better than what's already in the car. Also, for the front you want a component set, not a 2-way coaxial. And finally, even with the shallow-mount speakers, you're probably going to want to get some speaker spacers to isolate them from the metal of the door frame.

You're also missing the wiring harness for the radio, antenna adapter and you didn't mention the wiring kit for the amplifier.

RCA brand doesn't matter, so long as they are shielded and are not twisted pair. Twisted pair cables are only effective in reducing any noise if they're used with special hardware.

the wire harness is whatever came from crutchfield. they sent me a metra 40-ni10 atenna adapter. as for the amp wiring kit, i was going to go with this http://www.crutchfield.com/p_575RFK4...K4.html?tp=635

the only real concern i have is mouting the amp. its a smaller size amp and am hoping i can mount it where the factory one is. any thoughts on that? I've been searching this forum like mad and cant really find anything.

also, cant i just keep the tweeters that are already stock? im not trying to impress anyone with this, just want a reliable stereo that sounds ok and has bluetooth.

Since you're doing an aftermarket amp, that wiring harness will work for you, and the antenna adapter crutchfield will include will also work, but I really hope you didn't buy that wiring kit. $120 for a 4-gauge kit is ridiculous.

You might be able to mount the amp in a similar location to the bose amp, but you'll need to build a hanging bracket for it, and with the factory upholstery trim in place, airflow may be a problem, so you'd probably be better off mounting it where the factory subwoofer was (you might be able to cut up the subwoofer bracket to hold the new amp) so you have that 8" cutout for heat to rise through.

If those are the speakers you're putting in, don't bother replacing the factory ones. The bose speakers will work fine with the aftermarket amp.

Even more reason to keep them. They're actually panasonic, and are superior to the bose speakers.

I'll throw in 2c on RCA cables. I've been very happy with KnuConceptz cables. The Karmas are a great price and they improve as you go up. Lots of options and shipping was quick.
