Question about replacing rear speakers in 'non bose' '03 G35 Coupe

Hey guys hope you can help me. I'm putting some decent money and time into my stereo, currently have Rockford Fosgate T3 components in the front powered by a P300-2 amp and a T010D4 powered by a P300-1. I know that amp isn't big enough, but I upgraded the sub from a P2 and have a T500-1bdCP waiting to go in once I get time to upgrade my wiring.

I'm now wanting to also install some rear speakers. It's a 'non bose' car and I run it with the standard rear ones disconnected. I've heard that there is minimal mounted depth where the factory rear speakers are mounted. Does anyone have any idea on how much there actually is and if there's room for spacers or anything? I was hoping to fit another pair of T3s. Thought I'd try asking on here before the lengthy task of pulling the rear of my car apart.

Or do you think I should just mount some in the parcel shelf? Also havn't really investigated how hard that would be.

Any help would be great.

Why do you want rears?

You want to keep all the sound upfront

Rears will pull your soundstage back .

A good pair in the doors with enough power should run you out of the coupe.

All rockford stuff was a bad idea compared to what's out there.

Could've saved some coin, tbh.

Thanks mate but I wasn't after your opinion on my gear, or financial advice. I'm from Australia, and buying stuff from the states is real cheap for us at the moment. Plus I've always liked Rockford subs and amps and am very happy with their T3 speakers.

Also I'm after rears just for a bit of fill... not to overpower the fronts. I've never had 4 speakers before.. so keen to try it out. If that's ok with you.
