looking to build a sound system

I am about to buy all my parts and want to know you all opinion. I am thinking about putting a square solo baric with a 600x1 mono kicker amp how do you all think this will sound? will there be enough room to fit a box that will be built according to the air space needed?? can i fit 2? do you think 600 watts is enough watts for this??
any advise on this matter would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Richard

What size woofer are you getting? Is it an L7 or an L5? The sound is going to depend on the box. What sound are you looking for out of the subwoofer? Controlled or loud? The question of if you can fit 2 woofers or not is going to depend on a lot of other variables.

you know you're going to have no trunk space when you're done right? I think the 12" L7 asks for something like a 2.5 cubic ft box for ported enclosures. But if you set it up like this it should be really loud and fairly accurate. What amp are you looking to use??

What brand amp? and its not a monoblock class amp. Its more than likely a Class D amp. Well if you're not worried about trunk space then go with two 12" L7 in slotted enclosure totalling about 5 cubic feet. You're going to need a bigger amp if you want to do 2 subs. Look for a 1000 watt amp. Something like a JL 1000/1.

Like thats a fair mearsure of the volume. I can tell you one thing. Even if you moved the same exact system from your Trans am to the G35 its not going to be as loud. The reason being is the Trans am is a hatch back. Hatch backs generally will be anywhere from 6-8 db louder.

o believe me i know this so you are saying go with 2 L7 12" subs?? you dont think 1 will be loud enough? i may have to put a lowering kit on the front since the back will probably look lower with all the sound..

What the hell does choosing an L7 have to do with trunk rattling? The brand of the sub has nothing to do with it. Its the frequencies produced by the sub that cause the rattles. Once the sub produces the resonant frequency then here come the rattles.

Unfortunately trunk rattle is going to be heard regardless of what sub you use or how loud it is. You wanna know why? Because the sound of the rattle is a different frequency so you're going to hear it. Just like you're going to hear voices in music. oh and by the way you misspelled bass. One way to help reduce trunk rattle is sound deadening.
