I havent had the chance to take a peak at one yet because the ones ive test drove didnt come with one.

How is the navigation?
Does it feel outdated? (plan on getting an 03/04)
Is it reliable?

I ask this because my cousin owns a 2004 acura that comes with oem nav and it is god awful and takes him on long detours and doesnt even know where have the locations are that he types in. Its just old and useless. I really hope the G's nav isnt like this.

 

I have an 06 and my Nav works great for me. I wouldn't worry about it too much. You can always get a Garmin type nav or a Double Din Head Unit that has Navigation. Keep in mind a lot of newer HU's have the option to hook your phone up so you can use your phone's nav on your HU screen.

 

my 03 didnt come with one, i installed a pioneer double din navi. im pretty sure a 03/04 navi will be outdated. there has been a lot of construction in my area the past few years and new roads were made so i wouldn't rely on a system 10 years old giving me directions

 

The navigation interface was out-of-date when it came out. Now it feels ancient. The actual map database can be brought up to date so it's still usable, but the map updates cost much more than a brand new standalone Garmin.

If somebody tries and use the navigation as a reason to pay more, just laugh and say it's 10x worse than any of the free navigation programs available on your smartphone.
