CD changer and AUX malfunction

Hey guys, i did a little searching but wasn't able to find what i was looking for. i have an 04 G35 DG 6mt coupe and last week out of nowhere my Aux cable stopped working and i wasnt able to switch it over and then my cd changer is only changing between 3 cds when they all have discs in them. i've heard that this is a common problem but not a recall right? has anyone ever had this issue? if so, how did you go about fixing it? Thanks!!!

The only way you can have an AUX input on an 04 is with an aftermarket adapter, so I'd look into that failing.

It's very common for some of the disc slots to be unreadable. Recalls only are done for safety equipment, and your radio failing isn't a safety issue, so no way that's going to happen. It would be covered under warranty, but with an 04, you'd need a seriously extended warranty to have that covered.

Whatever the problem with a stock radio is, the best fix is to get an aftermarket unit.
