Question About Adding Speakers to an '07 Coupe

Does anyone know if you can cut out holes and place speakers under the rear seats of an '07 coupe?

Sound quality aside, there's a fuel tank under there, so... no.

I mean that the sound would go into the rear footwell. I was just wondering if there was the ability to mount speakers under the seats and the sound would go into the footwell in the rear.

Sorry to be so blunt, but that's a terrible idea.

^ This.

More reasons:
There's just the gas tank and the open world behind there, so unless you weld a sealed box behind them, you're going to let more road noise through the speakers than audio, plus your speakers would just be hanging out in the environment. I hope you live where weather doesn't exist.

Why just just upgrade the speakers that are NEXT to the rear seats in the coupe?

I wouldn't because front soundstage is my audio setup of choice, but I'd support upgrading those speakers over putting something down by the gas tank.
