Hey guys,

I recently got 03' coupe 6mt with navi/dvd package(factory) and have few questions..

I knew navi/gps wasn't current and previous owner told me I have to get new CD to update GPS? I have GPS of my own so its not something I need right now but I would like to know options to have updated GPS. How much does it costs to get new CD? only at infiniti dealer?

As for DVD, I tried inserting one but it says 'out of slot' even tho there wasn't any cds in it...

I'd appreciate if one can explain about these features.

edit. GPS shows where am I going and what street I'm on...but I've never set up my destination or anything(never used as GPS for once).

 

Navteq's website sells the DVD's, they are $99 right now...newest for 03 coupes is 6.11

The nav system will not play actual DVD's, only nav info DVD...

 

Thanks! wow didnt know it was only for nav dvd lol...

did a little search...and if map is shown on the screen, there should be cd insde..but can't eject or find this cd on dvd slot as well as 6 regular cd slots.

 

Look at this illustration, for the 2003 Coupe, the DVD disc, should go in the unit, behind the glove box
