I have a 2007 coupe.

Car still had the 2006-2007 maps update so I got the latest 7.8 version (2013).

I put in the setup DVD and it's stuck in the "Program loading" screen.

How long is it supposed to take? I waited like 30mins and it still stays on the same screen. Thanks.

 

From what I've seen, this is common when you try and use pirated versions of the maps.

 

I don't know if mine is pirated or not, I got it off of Amazon.

 

The only ones I see with a quick search of amazon are the $99 ones, if you got it for significantly less than that, probably pirated.

 

I'd say pirated as well. The way you would know is whether the disc has original company graphics or if it looks like a cheap knock off.... then it probably is.... Also, make sure the directions for updating that it came with are the correct directions. Once and a while the company updates the steps due to changes in the way it loads the maps or other firmware updates. Check the company's website for updated steps.
