I have an 04 G35x and like most my Cd player went out. I have the factory navigation and dont want to lose that, and I don't want to buy the same bose POS again so it fits. Is there anyway to put in a DVD/CD player in dash removing the old Bose unit and have it not effect my navi system? Thanks

 

If you really like the old navi, there is a din setup that is for you...

I would honestly just take out the bose system HU and buy an upgrade.

Please check the audio, video, electronics section. The drop in kit costs about 300$ for the nice one, and 200$ for the cheap one. The price of the stereo is dependent on what you want... and can cost 300$-1k$. Any other options you have thought of may also be linked in there.

 

I didn't know if the cd player was connected to the navi once I open it up. So its 2 different components and not connected? Do you know if a 7in screen will fit in without changing any parts other then the housing?
