Bose speakers upgrade questions

I just recently purchased an 04 coupe off a friend and I noticed that the back speakers were rattling so i figured they were blown. I also decided to change the front speakers and went ahead and ordered these off amazon

Amazon.com: Infinity Reference 6032cf 6.5-Inch 180-Watt High-Performance 2-Way Speakers (Pair): Car Electronics Amazon.com: Infinity Reference 6032cf 6.5-Inch 180-Watt High-Performance 2-Way Speakers (Pair): Car Electronics

I was wondering if these would fit into my car?

and for the rear speakers im looking at these

Amazon.com: Infinity Reference 9632cf 6x9-Inch, 300-Watt High Performance Two-Way Loudspeaker (Pair): Car Electronics Amazon.com: Infinity Reference 9632cf 6x9-Inch, 300-Watt High Performance Two-Way Loudspeaker (Pair): Car Electronics

they both have pretty good rating I just want to know would these be a better upgrade over the bose speakers and would I need anything to mount them?

Thanks!!

For mounting the front, you *can* re-use the factory speaker brackets, but they are rather flimsy plastic, so I wouldn't use them with more much power. Are the tweeters on those detachable? If not, they're going to be mounted very far from optimal location, even if they can be rotated and pointed. Not sure about the rear 6x9's mounting.

A bigger issue is that those speakers are going to be underpowered. the bose amplifier would be hard-pressed to give out 20w RMS per channel, so you may actually see a decrease in the low-end oomph.

Thanks for the quick reply! Are their any speakers that you recommend both front and rear that will work great with the stock bose amp then?

The problem is the bose amp, really. The infinity speakers have a pretty good sensitivity, so they'll do better than most.

Mine is all sounding ok but my CD player is not doing well. Often songs skip and once that starts it gets worse and I have to switch CD or go to Radio.

Know of a good Double DIN replacement for reasonable $ that will sound good?

Should I replace the stock speakers then as well or will they handle the new stereo?

Thanks

Simple replacement - the Pioneer X70BT. Big, tactile buttons and no fancy touchscreen, but full bluetooth streaming and handsfree calling. Cheap too.

It all goes up from there. I can't really say that any new radios sound "bad" anymore, it's just a matter of what features you're after.

Stock speakers will handle the new stereo fine, but you're definitely going to get more if you get a good amplifier and new speakers.
Upgrade priority for sound:
1) Replace the amp
2) Replace the speakers
3) *Replace the headunit (Priority #1 if headunit's failing).

Ok, Thanks so much for the info.

I need install also so it is probably Best Buy but I will look around when time comes.

It would be nice to be able to Blue Tooth to my phone I guess instead of radio.

Thanks again...I have no clue about stereos.

Replacing the front speakers is cake, you pop off the door panel and wala. The stereo is not hard with his guide. Everyone has to learn electronics some day, grandpa .

Nope, that's garbage. You get what you pay for.

Are you looking to add speakers, or power an amp? Mono block means single channel, not what you'd install to power 2 or more speakers.

I want to upgrade the Bose amp first and add a enclosed sub in the trunk then later on maybe upgrade the speakers

My method. I've ordered some JL components to complete my set.

If that's the case, you probably should be looking for a 300w four-channel amp to drive all the factory speakers, and a second 300w+ two-channel amp to drive the rear 6x9's. Once you put the subwoofer in, the two-channel amp gets wired up for bridged mode down to one-channel.
