Static even when radio is off!

To all of you that suggested that this is an Amp problem....I pray you're right. I just purchased a brand new Bose Amp ($635.00). If you were not right...I will hunt you down...you know the rest!!! I do have a remanufactured head unit. Seems to play fine. Just static especially when the radio is off. Any recommendations would be appreciated!!!

I mean this is typically the reason. The issue with electronics is that it is hard to exactly pinpoint the issue at hand. Why you bought a Bose 2V amp when you could've got a RF for half the price, idk.

Good luck!

Bose amps all generate nothing but noise IMO.

I purchased a new amp because I have more money than brains!! Honestly I don't trust remanufactured parts from ebay. I know nothing about RF Amps. I had asked about replacing the Bose and did not receive a response. If I still have the problem then it is probably the remanufactured head unit.

I wouldn't trust them either, but I sell those on eBay... So what does that make me

I only trust Remanu's from stuff I fix. RF is Rockford Fosgate.

I see what you did there.
