2003 Bose vs 2005 Bose (Faulty)

Hey, I have a 2003 g35 coupe.
My Bose headunit recently decided to die on me. The manual A/c comes on and now that its getting into winter its getting very irratating!

My question is whats the difference between a 2003 Bose headunit and a 2005 Bose headunit as ive found one for sale. Do they have the same faults? are the plugins still the same? Would it be better for me just to get a new fascia and get an aftermarket headunit?

Sorry for all the questions and if its in the wrong section!

Thanks!

All the same faults. It won't line up at all in the 03 dash, although the plugs are the same if you have a late '03.

Yes it's better to get an aftermarket headunit.
