fellas, i recently upgraded my front speakers to Focal krx2 components. Man they sound awesome..more awesome than the polk 5501 component i previously had. anyway, i was able to fit the focal TNK53 tweeter without the outer flange in the factory cover, but now i want to install the tweeter with the outer flange but it's too big. so i decided to drill a hole on the tweeter cover and was able to fit the entire thing in it. But now it looks kinda ghetto..my brother in law even made a comment that it looks like walmart **** now. i want to be able to still use the outer tweeter flange on the focal tweeter just because it sounds better when the tweeter is used with the flange.

does anybody know a company that makes custom tweeter covers for 2005 g35 coupes?

 

If you've already screwed up the factory tweeter panel, just use a holesaw and use the tweeter covers that came with them.

 

which is what i did, but it looks pretty ghetto. that's why i asked if anyone knew where to get custom tweeter covers made for tweeters >1"

 

Just get some made at a shop.. Or if u can do it yourself just fiberglass it in and sand it smooth and get it painted..
