Help please isni531

I'm installing a isni531 hooking up the harness to slot 1&4 then turned the car on to test it and my radio is not coming on at all the climate is going full blast and I can't turn it off.

Then I tried to reinstall the original harness and the climate buttons are not lighting up at all, radio not coming on but climate is going full blast....

What am I doing wrong?

Update: found out there is a ribbon wire connected to the bottom underside that disconnected, plugged it back in and that did the trick..

Yes in terms of having to press the radio button but soon as my aux option is selected it switches like in the video I posted...smh. I am not sure y tho.

I'm going to try to call them after work tmrw and see if I can get assistance. I put everything back together and left it wired so hopefully it's just a setting and not a defective unit, or radio. VERY AGGRAVATING.

After you get to auxiliary, does tune up/down switch to the proper input? That's what I was asking about if yours works like the one in the video.

yes it does switch to AUX2, also by pressing radio a few times...SAT displays and then it will go to AUX but switch back immediately.
