HVAC/Stereo Issues

Like many of you, my 03 G35 is suffering from the dead stereo and stuck HVAC issue. Everything I've read points to the stereo. If I go aftermarket will my issues be solved. I'd like a bluetooth connection and some more modern features and this "issue" would like me slide it by the wife. If so, any good recommendations? I don't need nav and lots of graphic. I'm about simplicity of look, install and use. thanks!

Yes. It'll fix it.

What do you mean "modern features"?

If you're looking simple, go without the touchscreen, Pioneer's bluetooth non-touchscreen unit the FH-X700BT is a good deal - bluetooth phone, bluetooth streaming audio, pandora control... and it's not going to attract thieves too much.

If you're wanting something to interface with your phone substantially, do the Pioneer NEX4000. Since it'll link with nav on some phones so you can get navigation that way.
