Pioneer AVH-X2500BT and ASWC-1

I just installed a new radio in my 2004 coupe and everything went fine until I started wiring in the axcess control and I cannot seem to get the steering wheel controls to work. I believe it is my Pioneer radio, I was wondering if anyone knew if the harness for my radio had a SWC wire I could use because the second 3.5mm jack in the back is not used for the SWC like I previously thought.

I have followed these guides.

The owner's manual, Page 46. The 3.5mm jack to the right when looking at the rear of the radio, is the wired (steering wheel) remote jack.

Okay, I have that plugged in and the led is not even on.
The controller wires are connected like the diagram green/white to green, gray/red to red, black to yellow and red to red at the radio. If I wire in the black wire to the other ground running to the radio then it will turn on but will not program (flashed red, I hold up volume
and it will flash green for a second then flash red again slower). I was assuming the radio was the issue not the ground cable... Is there a trick to programming?

Do you have the factory bluetooth adapter?

Did you go with the ASWC-1 or the PAC SWI-PS?

I did not ground the factory yellow wire, I had originally thought it was a ground wire that the harness connected to then I read more and realized they both needed to be grounded.
