No. That would probably damage the amp.

You splice the left RCA to the red and green wires. Red goes to the left RCA tip, green goes to the left RCA outer ring. If that ends up with about half the volume you'd expect, also connect the red to the right RCA tip and green to the right RCA outer ring.

If you're connecting to the red and green wires, you need to set the input level to HIGH on the amp.
