I'm looking for new door speakers and tweeters to replace my stock Bose system in my 05 sedan. What size speakers do I look for, and do you guys have any recommendations? I have no idea what to look for and at what price range. I dont need the best.. I just want something noticeably better than the bose.

6.5 is the size you need.. I guess your are going to want to go with component speakers. I have some Image dynamics, they are decent; however, they have bust (driver side). Other than that they are not bad.. I think I paid 2 something for them. Right now I'm looking at the Rockford fosgates as a replacement. Are you going to run an amp? Just make sure you match up the ohm's with the amp and speakers.

 

6.5 for the front and back? And 2 something for just a pair or all 4? And yeah, i'm pretty sure I'm going to run an amp after everything I've read. I'm just looking for a good pair at a good price. I don't need the best..

 

i have a pair of focal ps165s if you are interested. lightly used. maybe less than 3 months

 

The front is 6.5 and the ones in the back my the arm rest are the same size 6.5. Just for the pair. It came with a crossover, tweeter and mid. I see now that they are on sale for 195.00 now.
