Osiris tune on stock engine?

Hello all I'm new here and still figuring out this whole forum thing lol. . Anyways on with my question (sorry in advance if this has already been covered in a previous thread). I read somewhere how our stock ECU will only allow the throttle body butterfly to open 75% of the way and how doing the osiris tune or a legit tune in general will reprogram and allow it to open 100%. So with this being said why wouldn't a osiris tune increase output on our bone stock engine? Maybe that additional 25% wouldnt make much of a difference withought other breather mods??
I have had my 06 coupe AT for about a year now and the only performance mods I have done is stillens Ztube and drop in K&N. I plan to do the plenum spacer this coming spring when I change my spark plugs. I currently have 90,000 on my car and I absolutely love it. Best and most fun to drive car I have ever had. Thank you in advance for taking your time to help me out in this quest.

Who said it wouldn't help on a stock car? It absolutely would.

True, but if he's doing a spacer in the spring I'd wait until then. Why spend the tuner money twice?

Humm I did another search on the topic and seen there have been gains on the stock setup. It must have been the way I perceived it. People claim they have a smoother power band, better hp and tq. For the money on the tune I will wait till I do plenum and possibly high flow cats. At what point is a tune a MUST to keep from running too lean. Like would running with the plenum spacer for a while before getting the tune hurt anything?
