I have these in that center console glovebox thing. When I push my SAT button, it plays SAT music/advertisements instead.

05 - g35 sedan... Just got it less than a week ago, LOVE the car. Just not in love with the limited audio options.
It looks like an auxiliary cable and an iphone cable??
Anyway, not sure how to make this aux play my music :P

Anyway, pre-thanks

Push the SAT button, then power the radio off then back on to switch between XM and AUX/IPOD. That's how my USASPEC adapter operates at least.

Oh okay. I went to iPod, aux1, and aux2. And it didn't play music through it. I don't think this wire is a 3.5MM audio wire. When I plug it into my Android, the android notifies me that a headset has been plugged in and I can send commands through the headset.

I don't think the phone sees this as a medium to send music audio down - instead for calls.

Does this sound right?

Doesn't sound right at all.

Doesn't help that the pictures you posted are only thumbnail sized. What's the branding info on that ipod 30 pin connector? The two common ipod/aux adapters are USAspec and PAC iSimple. Basically need to look up an instruction manual.

There's larger links.
I thought the smaller thumbnails were supposed to be hyperlinks that took you to the original larger files.

It's an iSimple device.

Edit: I just read on some Acura forums that someone's iSimple didn't work after replacing the battery. And other people who had/have had g35s - said the same thing happened to them.
They said to pull the battery/fuse for the stereo. You need to wait a few minutes to completely power down the iSimple so it resets itself. Hope that works.

Looks like an FM modulator. If so, you need to find the switch to turn it on, then towards the bottom of the FM range is where you'll find its broadcast. Seek should easily find it.
