WTF...Maybe they're morons at the shop... They said I would definitly need separate NAV and DVD units...Whatever... As I look at the AVIC-90DVD on ebay I see they all say "play dvd movies" but thanks for the clarification DiamondG....is the AVIC-90DVD an old model 'cause I see a lot of refurbished ones up for auction.

Hey guys, the install is done! (It was finished on Sunday actually). I went over to Bob's place for the weekend and we put it together (Thanks again Bob!). I had a great time!!!
Back to the screen, the problem we ran into was the actual Digitalwheelz housing was a little to big. Chucks supplier cut the frame 1/16 over 7" instead of 1/16 under 7". To fix this solution, I sanded down the inside cubby (2 hours to get it decent) and the screen finally fit through. It pulls out decently, but has much less play than it's supposed to have (I'm looking at a good perspective as I will be sure there won't be much rattles). Another issue was that the housing was a little bit bigger in length than it was supposed to be forcing the console out a hairpin. To fix this solution, we took the plastic cover off that covers the chips of the radio and the console went in alright.
Bob also got in the PAC adapter I bought and we hooked it up to the AVIC-90DVD and the sound is flawless. Watching a DVD in the G is almost like watching a DVD in your living room w/ home theater setup (well, close enough anyway). For the other AUX input, we temporarily ran another Audio cable to the ashtray so I can hook up another source if I wanted. Eventually the female audio connectors will go through the ashtray insert so that should look good.
We also got the rear view camera (ND-BC1) hooked up and its pretty neat. It actually works nicely at night!! The last thing we did was an Escort Passport SR1 radar/laser detector install that he had got for his wife. They were kind enough to let me have it since we already had everything off and ready to mount and run wires through and I went ahead and ordered a new one for her! The rear sensor attaches to the license plate and the front one is on a bracket in the front bumper.
Here are some pics I took the night I got home from the install (I know the G is dirty as a result from the trip, but she's clean now) =P

This is the last thing we did. Thanks to Bob's son-in-law for the help!
