Hey Damen, are you using the new west coast updated disc? Me and Bob have it but are unsure of how to get it running (it says insert correct disc). I heard you need to put in the green disc first and then somehow reset the unit and boot the updated disc...

no i only have the green disk. also i'm on the east coast so the west coast disk is no good to me now.

where were you able to get it from and have you called pioneer and asked them yet? let me know what they say.

I'll give them a call tommorow (since I finally have some free time). I'm really anxious to get this new disc working and I know Bob is too as he is taking a road trip this upcoming weekend.

Well I just finished reading update instructions. The bottom read, "for AVIC-N1 or use with pioneer touchscreens only"

Arghhhhhh, well I'm going to call Pioneer tommorow and confirm this.
