Hey guys I recently installed a new stereo.....took out factory ac and radio controls wired up my stereo which works perfectly fine. I then put it all back together and realised I didn't have any dash illumination and digital counter is reading all 9s and gauges arnt working also car seems to be stuck in one gear like 3Rd or 4th when driving. I checked ecu codes which there was nothing at check light does flash 16 times though? Any ideas anyone? I would really love to fix this rather than taking to nissan

 

Oh yeah also I have checked all 3 fuse boxes several times and not a thing to be found?

 

get the code pulled and see what code is being set off. should give you a good indication of what the issue is

 

did you buy a replacement AC controller?

 

No not yet will when I buy the kit but that wouldn't affect the things I described would it?

 

Nope, the car functions normally (except for the climate control) without the dash kit.
