Hey guys,

Been a while. I have a 2004 G35 coupe with bose. My radio has been dead for over a year. AC controls are fine. I've tried the resoldering trick and everything.

I found a friend that'll swap his 03 bose radio from his g35 sedan. But mine is a coupe.

Now, will the swap work and be compatible? Any additional hardware?

If it's an early '03, they have an incompatible radio with all other radios. I can't remember how to easily tell them apart - but if his sedan had a doggie door trunk, it's possible it won't work.

 

Oh snap, thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of the early 03 differences in some stuff. I know the ECU's different, damn doggie door cars.
