Hello Everyone,

I've spent a good deal of time reading through these threads and I posted one earlier today asking for advice and reccomrecommend regarding specific brands and models of replacement audio components. However, I'd like to get a bit more specific.

I​​​ have what looks to be a common issue. I'm not satisfied with the sound in my 2005 G35 Sedan w/ Bose audio. In particular the bass output, or lack there of. Like many people on this forum Im not looking for super deep hard hitting thump. I just want something that sounds clean, crisp, full and tight. Ideally I'm looking for tried and true quality that won't break the bank. Ultimately, I'd like to upgrade the sound for $500-700 if possible.

At the moment I am considering replacing the subwoofer, amp and receiver...and leaving the stock Bose speakers. I figure this will keep costs low and improve the sound quality dramatically.

Sooo...questions:

1.Has anyone done this and/or do any of the experts have any thoughts about whether or not this will be effective?

2. If this sounds feasible/prudent, which subwoofer, amp and receiver would you suggest I use?

3. Is my money spent better elsewhere and, if so, where/how and on which components?

Any/all advice, suggestions and reccomrecommens (especially from the experts) are greatly appreciated!
