03 sedan base audio wiring from factory, sub?

Hi all. Im getting ready to fix my climate control by using the scosche dash kit with a new stereo head unit. Im also wanting to add a subwoofer. Just wondering if there is any factory wiring in my car associated with the factory subwoofer option. I have the base sound system, not bose. No factory sub in my car. I know some manufacturers use the same wiring harness across trim levels. Hoping there is some factory wiring to make a sub install a little easier.

Can't imagine that would be the case, but I would run new beefy RCA's for your sub from the head unit back to the trunk anyways.

Will do. I have an amp wiring kit on its way. Should have some 8 gauge, and good cables. I did look under there today,, and looks like nothing for a factory sub.

Nice. I just did this the other day. I strung out all the cables/wires - 4 gauge amp cable, remote power wire, RCA's, and backup camera video cable - then electrical taped it in a bundle every 10 inches or so. Made it pretty easy to route through the door sills from the dash back to the trunk. Good luck on the project!

I just finished this up. The rca and signal wire went through the center console, under the carpet and under the back seat into the trunk. Amp wire went through passenger side door sil, right under the carpet near the edge, then under the back seat and into the trunk. Thankfully, all the panels snapped back on tight.
