2006 infiniti g35 GPS issue.

Hi, I own a g35 coupe and recently after driving it, my gps will go out of sync from the map and show me irrelevant location of the map. As I am driving on the road my gps will show me the correct location and then it will randomly miss align me on the water or some random places. At first I thought it would be an easy fix by taking out the DVD and popping it back in but that didn't help. Is there a way to reset the map or check if my gps is working properly? I understand that its a 12 years year old vehicle and electronic problems are starting to occur. Has anyone else experiences this problem?

Simply, the 2006 g35 gps goes off chart when driving.

I also realized that I posted this thread in the wrong forum...

Thanks for responding, I know the naps are old. When I go into a common street that I know the goals was working before. It would shift out and act werid. It feels like the signal isn't working properly.
