2006 infiniti g35
Hi, I own a g35 coupe and recently after driving it, my gps will go out of sync from the map and show me irrelevant location of the map. As I am driving on the road my gps will show me the correct location and then it will randomly miss align me on the water or some random places. At first I thought it would be an easy fix by taking out the DVD and popping it back in but that didn't help. Is there a way to reset the map or check if my gps is working properly? I understand that its a 12 years year old vehicle and electronic problems are starting to occur. Has anyone else experiences this problem?
Simply, the 2006 g35 gps goes off chart when driving.
I also realized that I posted this thread in the wrong forum...

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
I moved your thread to the right place.
It's common knowledge the OEM nav sucked 12 years ago and is worse today. Just use your phone or get a Garmin unit or one like it. You'll be grateful you did but I'll admit, I always wanted one because I think the disappearing unit is really cool.....

You can still purchase that old update from https://infiniti.navigation.com, but as has been said already "why"?

Super easy to make copies of DVDs, first use the software "DVD Shrink" to make an .ISO copy on your computer then use "CD burner XP" to burn the .ISO to the new disk.
Both are free and don't have a bunch of bullshit "click here to buy!!!" screens, and no malware, and no BS when you go to uninstall them.
