Exclamation Trunk open alert

Hello, I have a 06G35 MT coupe. I am getting a trunk open warning on my Nav and a beep. It usually comes on soon as I start moving. The trunk is locked and I lubricated the locks and the hinge. Any idea where the sensor is? I have a auto start but it will not arm because the trunk open alert tells it the car is not locked and it refuses to arm.
Any idea where the trunk open sensor is?

Are you sure it doesn't mean hood open? Never heard of a trunk sensor.

Trunk alert comes up on the Nav

so I played with the wiring to the trunk and the trunk sensor went off. I have to check the wiring when the weather is better.

Really common issue with the coupes, the wire loom rubs on the opening it comes out of back there and can slice into the wires causing shorts or all kinds of electrical issues. Inspect it and fix any issues you can find before it gets worse.
