Locked my keys in the trunk, alarm went off but now can't open trunk from inside

In my haste to get my things together before leaving my car, I locked my keys in the trunk! Tow truck was able to unlock doors, I opened and alarm went off. Now the button under wheel won't pop trunk open!!! Please help if you know a way to override whatever just happened.

Do you have a coupe or a sedan?

Is the button disabled? Check your glove box... it has a switch on the left side (I believe) that disables the trunk release button.

If you have a coupe, I believe there's a strap you can pull to open the trunk underneath the rear seats.

Perhaps disconnect your battery, then reconnect it (while doors are open) and hit unlock button (2x), then try trunk switch?

AAA can definitely tow and take it to the repair place but hiring locksmith is a better idea for getting the locked keys.

Just replace your keys, there is no need to buy a new car for that little issue. Call any auto locksmith and get the new keys.
