Aux. input

I have seen MANY posts about how to cut into your system and add an aux. input so you can hook up your phone or ipod.....

Would the same procedure work for putting in a USB outlet?

I don't listen to music on my phone and don't even own an Ipod but have all my music on a flash drive.

My Corvette had an after market stereo in it with a rear USB plug and I miss it.

Also, I am in the process of installing a satellite tuner in the trunk location so is there a different place to tap in or is it a choice between satellite radio and an aux input?

To play USB audio, or as a power source?

It would work nothing like adding an AUX input.

You would need to add a new radio to do that.
