Hey I just purchased one of 4080's sub enclosures for my coupe. I was just wondering which 10 sub and amp I should put in it. I curently have the bose system and I am just going to run a LOC to the amp. i am currently looking at:

AMP:
Phoenix Gold Xenon 400x1

Does anyone have any idea how this will sound? I basically want to fill out the sound, but I also want it to hit decently. Thanks for looking!

 

I put in a JL mono block 500 watt amp with a 10" W6....in a 4080 box....the 10" W6 is a tight fit in that box...

the sound is wonderful......very tight fit.....i used a audio control LC6 for the line to rca convert......

 

I'm running an Alpinr MRD-500 to a 12" woofer (also Alpine Type R) and it pounds the life out of the woofer. Just an AWESOME amp and woofer combo. Highly recommend running a decent amount of power to the woofer.

I love my Boston Pro 10". Very tight and musical sub. I have the RF punch 2 channel amp bridged @ 4 ohm pushing over 500 watts RMS.

 

hey allforthecash, I'm thinking of doing the exact setup, LC6 to a 10w6 after buying the 4080 coupe box. How's the rattling in the trunk?
