Ecu help for manual swap

I have an 05 g35 Coupe, looking into manual swapping. 05 Autos came with non rev up and the 6mt came with rev up engine. Should I look for an 03-04 6mt ecu, or would it be better to flash the auto ecu? Planning on getting the BP single turbo kit after the swap, will I run into any issues that I wouldnt vs a factory 6mt car?

05 Auto
Hey, I’m getting ready to do this swap myself. I have an 05 Auto non-Revup. Did you end up swapping the ecu to 03/04? I’m having trouble figuring out which wiring harness will work for this swap.

You don't need to swap the ECU; we can do all the MT swap conversion stuff with an Uprev tune. You'd have to get it reprogrammed anyways to bypass NATS... might as well get a tune and enjoy it. Feel like a brand new car. Shoot me a PM I can help you out

No, we can load a new license onto it over email. Used cable does save you some money!

I also forgot to mention, I swapped engines went from revup to de since it blew up, I have the auto ECU from a 05 g35 that came with the replacement engine.

Easiest way to make this work is to keep your original revup ECU and have me tune it for the new non revup engine. Swapping in the 5AT ECU then converting it to 6MT is a lot more involved.

Ecu problems

Ok I did the swap. I’m using auto harness and auto ecu. Only thing I wired was terminal 53 to crank the car. The car started and worked fine, I got u1000 code and P0850 for PNP. So I drove the car for a month or 2, NO PROBLEMS. So I decided to wire the PNP and reverse lights so I could use cruise and have some sort of safety when backing out of a Parking space. But when I wired everything up and tried to crank the car, it only cranks and doesn’t start. Only codes I get are u1000, I know nats isn’t at fault due to my security light only flashing when the key isn’t in the ignition but will go away once the keys in it. When I crank the car I get no signal to tach(stays at 0 rpm). What do you guys think? Did I accidentally fry my ecu trying to wire that stuff or do I might need a new crank sensor or what? What I’m confused about Is how perfect the car worked before. I even tried to wire the car back to how it originally was but still crank no start.

If you're still using the 5AT ECU then it needs to be properly tuned for the MT swap...

Got my car running, ended up just swapping the engine harness for a revup mt, I’m running a DE engine. I know the harness has 5 more or so connectors than a DE harness but my engine is 100% plugged in and doesn’t mind the rev up harness. With that being said I still have SES light and don’t have cruise, I have u1000, p2a00, and p2a03. Any chance I can get cruise back and get these codes cleared with remote tuning? I need this so I can pass emissions as this is my daily driver, if this can be done I’m more than willing to get tuned by you.

Possibly. Can't guarantee anything without seeing how its running first and cruise not working is a separate issue..

it runs great, starts up fine and everything. I know the ecu recognizes the MT harness because 1. car won’t start if it’s in gear 2. Car revs up slightly when put into gear. I’m still confused on why I don’t have reverse lights, I’d might just have to manually wire them. And also I still don’t have cruise. From what I’ve researched in order for cruise to fully be functional the system needs to be fully connected(no **** Sherlock) but what IM missing from my system is the CAN signal the cruise control system gets from the auto transmission. Does that make sense? Anyway I can fool the Tcm to think the system is complete allowing cruise to work? But At this point I don’t care about cruise or the reverse lights I just need to know if I can remove these dtc codes to pass inspection. I know u1000 is from manual swap bc Tcm doesn’t get signal from auto transmission, but I also have p2a00 and p2a03, not sure why. Maybe my cats or intake leak, the car runs fine so I don’t bother trying to fix it, from what I remember my car has always had these codes. I always just cleared them and drove the car enough to pass inspection but not drive it long enough for codes to come back. But since manual swap I can no longer do that because u1000 code doesn’t go away for ****. Any help?
I’ve practically done the whole manual swap, I just need to pass inspection. If anybody needs help with hand brake or clutch pedal or anything about the swap, I can for sure help. I went thru hell for it lol

does ecutek offer complete access to dtc codes? Or does it have an option lol, like let’s say it’s an option to clear all dtc codes to pass inspection. Because if you only have an AT check light, then you can pass inspection. How? With ecutek or what? How did you remove the u1000 code?? Because as far as I know ecutek doesn’t allow tampering with dtc systems
