07 g35 6 speed swap rear wheel drive was all wheel drive
Need help

Recently just got an 07 g35 originally auto awd- now 6 speed rwd, my question is, in first and halfway through second gear it has no *** at all , but at about 3500rpms in second it comes alive, guy I got it from said it still has automatic ecu and was wondering if that would be making it weak in first and second? Do I need to do the pure and retune my ecu?

Maybe check to see if the rear diff is the correct one? Just a wild guess but I know sometimes auto / manual require different rear-end gear ratios.

You do need a tune, but I think there's also something else going on. PM/email me when you're ready I've done a ton of these tunes.

I’m getting the u1000 code as well but my car runs fine after the swap, it’s just having communication issues. Nowhere even want to make a tune or flash the ecu for me . Have yall heard of the ones the are programmed to plug and play

Fried 6mt ecu

hey dude same here I tried messaging you but I can’t. I think my ecu might be fried (no codes, good voltage all the way to the coils, new hitachi sensors fuel assembly IPDM fusible etc, I believe it’s not in anti theft mode but I can’t change maps even though CC works, but there was frozen water under my battery and the grommet is worn). I’m thinking about testing another but I can’t find a stock manual in the time frame I need so I’m getting one from an auto.

my car:
05 6mt de swapped engine original rev up harness and tuned by Moncef

donor:
05 g35x (I believe these don’t have rev up right only 6mt g35 and 350z?) de

Can I reprogram the auto ecu to manual? Also is it possible to move my license over or do I just have to retune the new ecu? At the minimum I wanna start the car and be able to drive again I can worry about my tune later maybe even fix the original ecu. I have NDSII UpRev (the non tuner version) and both cables
