G35 Premium Sport Package with 6MT Sedan Black and Loving it still.
Cool Replaced Bose speakers with JBL!!!

I wanted better sound than my 16 year old Bose speakers without replacing the HU , I purchased the JBL GTO 600C component speakers up front 2 Ohm and JBL 620 2 way for the rear 2 Ohm and wow what a difference so clean and crisp and every bit as loud as before but so much better, no distortion.Great mid bass and perfect highs, I think when I replace the stock sub, Im going to go with a seperate amp and box for that . Just wanted to share my 2 cents worth of info, Ive been dealing with terrible sound from the bose speakers and now its awesome.

You seem to be the only person on the entire internet that has replaced the front bose door speakers without installing an amp. Every post I see recommends an amp, and I don’t know if I want to put that much time into the install. However I do have a door panel already removed to replace the window motor so it seems like a good time.

thank you for the post. If your still around please update us on how it’s holding up and if you’ve had any issues with it.

I have read that the speakers are 2ohm, and I’ve read that they are 1 ohm, and I’ve read that they are 3 ohm and I just don’t know what to install to avoid damaging the stock Bose amp. I want clearer sound but obviously not amazing sound since it will still be using the stock Bose amp. My kenwood stereo helped the clarity a little bit but I think the speakers just distort too easily.
