Wiring up a double din ATOTO in my G35. Q about wheel keys and steering control.
Hello there folks,
I'm in the process of installing an ATOTO F7 WE in my 2003 G35.
I'm following Wrathernaut's double din install guide and noticed I needed an AWSC - 1 for radio controls.
It turns out my Scosche kit has steering wheel controls in the kit.
Would be it safe to return my AWSC-1 and stick with the Scosche LPII15?
Also, I noticed the Scosche LPII15 has two wheel key wires for control. I purchased an additional wireless controller "an ATOTO wireless one, ATOTO AC-44F8" that's looking for a connection to one of the keys and accessory ignition.
Would it be possible to use both radio controls connected where the Scosche is connected to both keys and 3.5 and the ATOTO is connected to one key, ground and accessory ignition?
It would be cool to have more options like next/prev track when available but I don't want to damage anything connecting too many things to the accessory ignition wire.
Was even considering using the ASWC-1 instead and remapping the mode and power buttons if necessary. Just weighing out my options before opening up my head unit.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
