how much money should I give under the table

My stereo is getting installed Friday and Saturday.

My friend is an installer at a local stereo shop. He will be installing
-Mb Quart QSD for the front
-Kicker Solo-baric S10L7 (square sub)
-Custom fiberglass box for sub
-amp rack for 2 Phoenix Gold amps

I may do the rear speakers with some cheaper Mb Quarts depending on how hard it is to get to them. It looks kinda difficult. I told him if it is not going to be that hard that I will buy some and he can put them in!

Can't wait. I have been waiting for 8 months now!

I will post pics of the finished product.

How much should I give him?

I was thinking $300-$400

What do you guys think? I know there are some installers on these threads

A pizza and about $10 an hour would be sufficient. After all, you are trusting him to work on your car with NO insurance and no shop backing him.

Of course if his boss found out he was doing this he could lose his job, so make it $15 an hour. Then again, if he isn't very good.....

Food is always the important thing though!
