is there a reason you recommended a 10" sub as opposed to the 12"? i understand the physics behind the 10" needing less space to sound better, but are you suggesting that your enclosure is suitable for a happier 10" than 12"? if so, i agree with your jl10w6v2. i was more or less asking about fitment, as far extra drilling, fit, space or whatever. thanks. pm me for prices please. looks like my next project.

Can you OM with price of your box? Is it one box that can house a 10" or 12" sub? Does it come with install instructions?
Thx.

I have sold around 140 boxes. Good numbers for just goofing around.

Yes, I shipped the box on Tuesday.

The reason I picked a 10" sub is because of space. My goals for this box was that it looked factory, did not take up much room, did not stick out far, incorporated a grill, be able to be removed without tools in 10 seconds, and sounded great. A box for a 12 would have poked out too much and would have prob. went into the spare tire area, this would mean that you could not pull it out quickly.

I would be happy to post the pics of my 4080 with a JL 10W1 sub and Alpine V12 amp. The only problem is that I am an internet retard and have yet to learn how to host and post a pic. I would be happy to email them to someone if they will post them for me. I can tell you that I showed the box to a good friend of mine who used to be one of the best installers I have ever seen. He thought the box was excellent quality and was a great price for what I was getting. I was looking for a little more low bass but I didnt want to go crazy with the stereo. This was exactly what I was looking for. I have the sub on the left side and the amp on the right. Its looks great and really doesnt take up a lot of room. I highly recommend this box for any application you might be looking for.
