Just wanted to post a pic of my new grill cover for my modified 4080 enclosure...........i used a diamond audio 10" sub and it has a HUGE magnet and would not sit flush on the original mdf ring......so i made a 1/2 inch spacer ring and glued and screwed it to the original.......the movement of the diamond audio sub was too much and it would kick the original grill off......so i talked to 4080 and he made me a deep grill with an extra 1/2" clearance......THANKS 4080......great customer service!

The only build the box for the driver side. The pass. side of the trunk has a fuel neck that takes up air space. If I built a box for the pass. side to match the driver side it would be smaller. This can cause one woofer to be louder, play lower, and handle less power than the other woofer. I would suggest that you invest in one quality woofer and amp combo. Out of 120+ boxes sold, I have never had a customer say that one woofer was not loud enough. Most guys mount the amp on the back of the back seat. I have my amp mounted under the rear deck. Here is a pic.

It depends on how much money and bass you want. I am perfectly fine with a JL 10W0. It sounds awsome and is cheap. But since I knew some guys wanted to listen to my car loud I went with a larger Rockford P3. The JL 10W6V2 is the most popular and is my suggestion.

Thanks, 4080
