Double DIN swap.. 13 hours later! **With Pic**
Well I'm beat.. it's taken a long time.. had to do the double DIN plus run the 3 sets of RCA's as well as the Alpine Link cable. I am impressed..but man..there's ALOT of wires behind the radio.. it was a PITA to stick in there..but it worked.

No pics yet.. it's tough putting everything back together in the dark with only a flashlight
My XM isn't working though.. I switch to it, but it doesn't sound at all. it's dead silence.. weird.

sound like something to do with the wire harness......wires for XM not matching with wires from HU?

It's actually because I tried to hook up XM at the end of my changer Ainet cable..and apparently you need to hook it on the front end.. so I get to take my dash apart again!!
Ok.. it's fixed. XM radio is amazing let me tell you.. the variety of channels is just something amazing. I need to take some pics for you guys.. just a lil tired to do it right now.
hey looks great man, yah i know what you mean about the wires...
like Docron said, it takes less than 5 minutes to take apart the dash for the people who "forgot" to do something so simple like your XM thing.... have to take it apart over and over to finally get it working...heh gotta love it!
i love how the orange glow matches the rest of the interior colors, aesthetics are VERY important in my opinion, which is why i got rid of my avic-n1, looking for something more visually pleasing at the moment.
