My only concern with the xbox is this:

1. It would have to go in trunk. Would that be too close to a 4080 box setup that would rattle the xbox to shreds.

2. Does the xbox have a resume type function where when it turns off and then back on again at a later time, the movie or whatnot would start where it left off. (like CD players). I am pretty sure the Innovatek has this function but not sure about the x-box or PS2 or whatever.

Also, when you say wireless remote, is it 900mhz style where you do not need line of sight. I imagine to put it in the trunk you will need some non-IFR type signal. I guess I have a few months to think about it

Okay. I emailed AVElectronic to get them to fix the 2005 bug (i guess its the sync wire). I hope others will follow and get them to fix it.

Whoa...hold yer horses there....who said he tried it??? I think g8tor is just "assuming"??? Like I've said AV is the only non confrimed unit to NOT work as of now...I think there should be confirmation first before we jump the gun. I have confrimed ALL but AV electronics unit...

I am going to go with the xbox only because i have it modded with a 250GB hard dirve and all movies saved on it.. so no need to change /carry dvd disc wit you. Also you can fit like a 100 movies in DIVX format.!!!! And with a wireless remote navigation for the slection of movies/mp3 is very simple.!

I am going to put it in my glove box if it fits, or mount it under the front passangers foot well...it comes with a remote eye sensor (so that you can hide the unit but make the infrared eye visible anywhere in the car...so now all you need it access to the unit when popping dvds in or what not.

I did in fact assume it didn't work b/c of the sync wire problems. I know a while back some 05 owners posted that they are getting it installed but never reported back. My bad on jumping the gun fellas....

AV responded to my email and said it should work with the 05 as they have sold "many" to G35 'o5 owners with no issues...

So, I guess I just have to wait on PAC...
