Doing my SWI-X install tommorow.. any tips?
What advice would you give? Is there anything that would help in doing so, and is it pretty straight forward to do it? To the guys who mounted it up on the top by the door frame, how did you get the sensor up there, did you have to use extra wire, what kinda wire, etc. Inquiring minds want to know

no extra wiring...
my tip, be patient, you might need to do it over and over again until you get it right. test it before you close everything back up.
also, you can program any button to do anything you want, well anything that the included remote control for your new headunit can do.
i programmed my POWER to be MUTE.
and my MODE to be "next station for AM/FM"
my channel up and down is for CD/ DVD next track...
