Any links on how to mod the player? I've seen the input swithchers from av - but that's $500, makes sound go through a modulator (I have sat radio), and still requires an outboard player.

Please share the mod link, I'll get crackin!

peet,

I'm not a modder, but I've been reading this Forum to learn. I'd suggest that you read the stickied first tthread in this Forum.... it answers this very often question that you have and includes product options, prices, detailed instructions, photos, etc.

Hi salt... I too read every thread related to this, but the glimmer of hope that a mod to the unit could allow the functionality -- too much to pass up.

On my previous car, mercedes c class, there was a great mod to the head unit... cut one trace, solder two wires and you had an auxiliary input in a radio that didn't have one before. I was hoping someone had found something similar here.
