CD-RW are very hard to be read by readers other than Burners. So I suggest you burn CD-R cd's (Philips or Sony or some good brand) and using Nero choose FINALIZE CD option. That will ensure highest compatibility.

The player will not read any playlist. It will play the mp3's in the order that the buring program placed them on the disk. If you use Nero, you can order the songs and create your own folder structure.

he's talking about stock hu on an 05. i have had the same issue and a playlist resolve this easily.

the best thing is to give every suggestion a try and find the best solution for themselves.

03 will play CD-Rs but i was never able to get a CD-RW to play.

If you hold the Seek or Track button for a few seconds it will jump to the next folder.

I think Seek moves forward one folder and Track goes back one. I will try this when I take it out tomorrow and confirm this.

Yep, Seek moves up one folder and Track moves back one folder.

It seems to work with the steering wheel controls but not the HU itself.

Also, I just want to know how long do you take to change and load another mp3 cd. I have heard 90 seconds to load.

Mine takes around 15-25 seconds from one cd to another.
