wondering if anyone has installed this and where did they mount the unit at? Would it fit in the top glove box where the stock nav unit goes?

 

If its a single DIN unit less then 7" in depth, it can be mounted in the digitalwheelz single din converter http://www.digitalwheelz.com/G35DinConverter_About.htm and put in the upper glovebox.

If its 7-11/16" its going to be too deep to fit in there. A metal bar in the back center of the upper glove box will block it for sure. The bar looks related to airbag system in some way so I wouldn't recommend cutting it.

I have the KNA-DV3100 which I assume is the same size. I mounted it in the upper glove box where the factory nav goes and it fits well. I also mounted the antenna in the factory location behind the clock and it works well.
