i was just wondering how long of an RCA set you guys used for G35s no packages no bose just the plain *** stock HU

I used 10 feet from HU to the trunk. I dont think trim level would be an issue here.

 

10 feet is short! I used 17 feet (running along passenger side wheel well) from back of HU and it just barely makes it to the far corner of the trunk (near location of stock amp). You can get Tsunami shielded rca cables from autotoys.com at this length.

 

well actually back seat, not trunk.

 

17 feet to be safe, 10 feet is kinda short but it all depends how you route the wires.....

If you run right up the middle you definitely won't need more than 15 feet. Down the sides, it could need up to 20 depending on where the amp is and which side of the car.

 

I used 5 meter cable and by JUST enough, it's an understatement.
